Finlite Blocks

The Finlite Block is manufactured using 100% Pumice and no other aggregates. This gives it a very low density of less than 1000kg/m3 and thus its low thermal conductivity of 0.318W/m oC

Advantages

Fire Resistance

Finite Blocks are non combustible and provide a minimum of 2 hours fire resistance even for 100mm load bearing walls. For 100mm non-load bearing walls the fire resistance is 4 hours.

Plastering & Rendering

Finite Blocks provide an excellent key for plastering and rendering and do not require any special bonding agents.

Plastering & Rendering

Finite Blocks accept all normal fixings as used for dense concrete and can be chased as required.

Mortar Mixes

Finite Blocks do not require any special mortars and an OPC: sand with plaster's ratio of 1:6 is normal.

Sound Insulation

The sound reduction across a 100mm Finlite Block Wall is in excess of 40dB while a 215mm Finlite Block Wall gives a 50dB sound reduction.
