Finlay Blatcon has been synonymous with double tee manufacture and long span construction for more than twenty five years and is established as a national producer of high quality precast concrete.

The highly efficient prestressed double tee slab was introduced by Blatcon from the USA in the early 1960's to satisfy a demand for a long span concrete flooring unit to accommodate heavy load situations (10KN/m2 for spans up to 20m).

It has been a natural progression from that time for Blatcon to expand into the design, manufacture and installation of full precast concrete framed buildings using the double tee system, and also both prestressed composite solid planking and hollowcore units for shorter span applications.
